Warehouse Supervisor Job | Employment – Port Harcourt

Purpose of the role:

As a Warehouse Supervisor you are expected to manage and control inventory, as well as supervise timely receipt and delivery of supplies. To be effective in this role, you should demonstrate experience with workflow optimization and strong leadership abilities. Moreover, dependability, excellent organization skills, and good time management capabilities are also essential for success.

Responsibilities and duties:

Managing warehouse staff and daily activities.

Monitoring, evaluating, and reporting warehouse productivity.

Coordinating the receipt, storage, and timely delivery of materials and goods.

Maintaining appropriate inventory levels and ordering supplies.

Making sure orders, bills, items received, inventory, and deliveries are accurate.

Keeping records, reporting relevant information, and preparing documentation as needed.

Maintaining basic maintenance standards and complying with health and safety regulations.

Inspecting the warehouse grounds on a daily basis.

Maintaining fleets and equipment.

Coordinating with other departments and customers.

Requirements for the job:

A degree in Business Management or a related field is required.

Experience as a warehouse supervisor or similar management position.

Knowledge of warehouse operations and management.

Delegation skills and time management skills.

Leadership and organizational skills of the highest caliber.

Communication and interpersonal skills that are strong.

Data entry software and Microsoft Office proficiency.

Ability to solve problems.
