Senior Data Scientist

Our client is an exciting CleanTech start up based in Massachusetts (MA). They are leaders in energy, battery storage systems.

Senior Data Scientist responsibilities;

  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, data scientists, and DevOps engineers to deliver a scalable marketable data products in the BESS industry.
  • Architect, develop, deploy, and maintain scalable AI/ML solutions including the optimization of data queries with SQL database, code refactoring, shared library usage, and documentation of process and solution artifacts.
  • Implement metrics to verify model and algorithm effectiveness
  • Automate model training, testing and deployment and ensure proper code documentation
  • Keep up with emerging trends in ML, Deep Learning (DL) and Natural Language Processing (NLP)

Senior Data Scientist experience;

  • 3+ years Machine Learning, ideally within CleanTech
  • Knowledge in some of these: Deep learning, Neural networks, GLM/Regression, Random Forest, Boosting, Trees, Bayesian Optimization, etc.
  • Matlab/Simulink
  • Proficient in Python and/or R scripting
  • Expertise in ML/DL frameworks like Pytorch, TensorFlow, Keras, Scikit-learn/Caret
