Summary/Objective
As a Warehouse Associate, you will play a crucial role in the efficient operation of our warehouse facility. Your responsibilities will encompass a variety of tasks including receiving and storing materials, fulfilling orders, and ensuring a safe and organized work environment.
Essential Functions
Assist in the shipping and receiving process by unloading trucks and inspecting incoming merchandise Prepare orders for shipment by processing requests, pulling materials, and packing boxes for delivery Organize and maintain inventory by sorting and placing materials on racks, shelves, or bins according to company standards Handle and unpack bales, crates, and containers as needed Maintain inventory controls by recording stock location orders and collecting data through computer systems Keep the warehouse clean and organized by sweeping, dusting, and mopping work areas and shelves Wear appropriate safety equipment and adhere to safety protocols at all times Competencies
Demonstrate strong communication, organizational, and time management skills Be dependable, reliable, and able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment Physical Demands
Regularly lift and move objects weighing 10-50lbs, and occasionally handle objects over 100lbs Frequently stand, walk, stoop, kneel, and crouch while performing warehouse duties Occasionally sit and climb or balance as needed Specific vision abilities required including close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus Required Education and Experience
Minimum of 2 years of experience in warehouse operations Forklift experience is required for consideration Preferred Education and Experience
High school diploma or GED Additional Eligibility Requirements
